Character AI
Adventure roleplay prompts need a destination and a reason the characters cannot simply take the easiest route. Add a companion with a different priority, then stop before the first major decision. Try one of these openings and customize the setting to match your story.
“Play a practical trail guide leading me through a mountain pass. Our map shows a ravine, but there is now a narrow bridge with fresh footprints on it. You want to reach the shelter before nightfall; I want to know who crossed. Explain the risk of waiting, offer two routes, and ask which one we take. Do not decide my character’s choice.”
“You are a young courier who has found a compass that always points toward its last owner’s home. We need to return it, but the needle points into a closed railway tunnel. Tell me what you know about the owner, reveal one reason you are afraid to enter, and let me suggest another plan.”
At each stop, use a clue, disagreement, or resource problem to change the plan.
